Vinyl installation:
- Extract vinyl package wherever you want
- Run NFSTexEd (any versions) and open Vinyls.bin of targeted car
- Replace whatever vinyls you want (both main file and the mask), lemme give you an example.
a. For preset colour vinyl :
- CONTEST01
- CONTEST01_MASK
b. For paintable vinyl :
- BODY04
- BODY04_MASK - Save, open your game and enjoy it.

Nice work, how did you change the color of the silver stripes to black?
Well, i changed the material into black and blue
Then recompiled
I tried to change the color of the material in the file _MISC from textures with photoshop cs6, but I was unsuccessful as I couldn't find the silver stripes, they probably aren't there. Could you tell me where you found the stripes to change the color?
Nah, those stripes are not attached to misc texture, the modder put global textures named metal swatch/solidgrey as its material texture
So, you have to change it manually by editing its material
