Radiator Springs Map Mod v 0.1

A Map Mod for NFS Most Wanted (2005) that adds Radiator Springs from Cars Race-O-Rama as a new free roam map: the town, the desert roads, Ornament Valley, the canyon and the mine.

It comes with AI traffic and police, a safehouse, a car lot and a custom shop, its own minimap and pause map, and breakable props (signs, mailboxes, speakers, crates).

Rockport is not touched: the map lives in its own folder and no original file is replaced.

This is a work in progress. There are bugs and this is not the final version.

Installation

1. Extract everything in this archive into your NFS Most Wanted folder (the folder that contains speed.exe).

2. Start the game using a complete save game, load your career and choose "Resume Free Roam". You will start in Radiator Springs.

These are not required, but the map was made and tested with them:

NFSMW Widescreen Fix (ThirteenAG) — proper widescreen and modern resolution support.

NFSMW Limit Adjuster (Zolika1351) — raises engine limits. Recommended settings in

NFSMWLimitAdjuster.ini: DrawCalls=32767 (the town is dense) and TrafficCars=20 (matches the mod's traffic limit).

NFSMW Extra Options (ExOpts Team) — quality-of-life options (skip movies, camera, etc.).

NFSMW Unlimiter (nlgxzef) — optional, only if you also use add-on cars.

Known issues

- Races, challenges and quick races still take place in Rockport.

- Some spots may still have imperfect collision (small bumps, gaps in a few walls or rocks).

- Water is static: the waterfall and other water surfaces don't move.

- The mine has graphical glitches.
