Update 1.17 introduces 9 selectable skyboxes, new high-quality barrier textures, improved installation options, and enhanced flame & NOS textures.

🛠️ Installation Guide

Step 1: Install Base Mod

Step 1.5: Install TexWizard

Step 2: Install Realistic Preset

  1. Download this preset

  2. Extract the contents

  3. Open the "Realistic Preset for SunSet Mod" folder

  4. Copy the "scripts" and "TexturePacks" folders

  5. Paste them into your NFSMW game directory

  6. Overwrite files when prompted

🔥 Optional: NOS & Flame Effects + Skybox Selection

(For SunSet 1.14+)

Method 1: Using Binary/Binarius

  1. Open the "Binary/Binarius" folder

  2. Launch the toolas administrator

  3. Click the left red icon

  4. Select "1) Install.end"

  5. Browse and select your NFSMW folder

  6. Install step by step:

    Step 1) 9 Different Skyboxes – Sunny and Cloudy/Rainy Textures

    • Sunny – choose one:

      • IRL

      • HDR

      • Volumetric Clouds 3D

      • Volumetric Clouds 2D

      • Original Skybox by ARCHIE

    • Cloudy – choose one:

      • HDR

      • Volumetric Clouds 3D

      • Volumetric Clouds 2D

      • Original Skybox by ARCHIE

    Step 2) New Barriers with Different Resolutions

    • High Quality (1024x1024)

    • Standard Quality (512x512)

  7. Save when prompted

  8. DO NOT run the game yet

Method 2: Using NFS-VltEd

  1. Open NFS-VltEd

  2. Install NOS & Exhaust Effect:

    • Click "Import Modscript"

    • Select"2) Install Nos and Exhaust.nfsms"

    • Choose your preferred style:

      • MrYudhaP14 Style

      • OpenRah's Effects Overhaul 1.4 Style

    • Go to Files Setting →"Install or Uninstall"

    • Click "Install" and "Save"

  3. Install Realistic Effects Particles:

    • Click "Import Modscript" again

    • Select "3) Install Realistic Effects Particles.nfsms"

    • Go to Files Setting →"Install or Uninstall"

    • Click "Install" and "Save"

    Because of the SunSet 1.15.2 is New Updated, NOS and others is fixed Flames and Exhaust effects.
