  first question:what does the dayoflighting.nfsmw does? second question,cant i immediately drop all of the reshade files?

    Looks like you've never tried modding the game with VltEd before.

    So basically, a .nfsms file is a script file that is used to changes certain values of some fundamental game files.

    The dayoflighting.nfsms script changes how the game looks in general.

    I haven't tried this script yet but judging by its name, it should do so.
