Introduced as the facelift successor to the Type 4S generation Audi R8 Coupé V10 Plus, the car gained an additional 9 horsepower, and uses redesigned front fascia with wider grille that is stretching closer to the headlights (which also has small air intakes), and three horizontal vents. It also has a redesigned rear quarter with large oval outlets, rear diffuser, and unified rear vent.

The R8 V10 Performance Quattro was appeared in some games such as NFS Heat & Unbound, Car Simulator 2 (except its spoiler was removed), The Street King, CSR Racing 3, Assetto Corsa EVO, Forza Motorsport 2023, Real Racing 3, Forza Horizon 6, and Asphalt Legends.
