FIRST LOOK: NFS Undercover

I recently had the chance to check out an alpha version of NFS Undercover up at EA. I got word earlier that I am allowed to talk about it briefly, so here goes.

The storyline of NFS Undercover is "a rich, cinematic experience where players are an undercover cop taking jobs and competing in races to prove themselves as they infiltrate and takedown an international crime syndicate." What that means, is that you play as an undercover cop, who is out to bust street racing and car theft rings.

EA has definitely taken a different approach with this year's game, corresponding with Hollywood producers and actors, to create the story for NFS Undercover. In fact, they hired Hollywood writer/director Joseph Hodges (of TV show 24 fame) to be the director for NFS:UC.

Actress Maggie Q (Balls of Fury, Die Hard, Mission Impossible III), plays the lead character this time.
