General NFS,

Welcome to the Off Topic section of NFSGarage. Just set this up quickly for all my fellow hockey fans to talk about the playoffs (as they seem to be a popular topic) instead of talking about them in the car/news comments sections. When I get a chance I'll turn this into the "Garage Talk" section I promised a while ago :)

I might as well get the conversation rolling. Who do you guys think will make it out of the first round? Before the playoffs even started, I predicted the following:

WEST:
Vancouver
Los Angeles
San Jose
Chicago

EAST:
Montreal
Ottawa
New Jersey
Toronto

So far I'm doing pretty good, except for the Car/NJ series and the Colorado/LA series. But how about the Canucks?? Whoo hoo!!!

Don't ya think it would be funny to see an asshole team like Montreal,against something like Detroit for the cup or NJ for the semi-finals?

Yeh..just watch. Detroit will all of a sudeen turn around, just now that we got our hopes up that the Canucks would upset them ;) Oh well. Im a Leafs fan all the way :)

WESTERN CONFRENCE:
-Vancouver in 6
-Colorado in 5
-San Jose in 6
St. Louis in 6
EASTERN CONFRENCE:
Montreal in 6
Ottawa in 6
Toronto in 6
New Jersey in 6
-Think LAs gonna win now? They are down 3-1

you know, I have some great friends and some relatives in the US, but recently i've really begun to hate them. They accidentally kill our soldiers, barely apologize, make our soldiers do the dirty, crappy jobs, and then they go and have the nerve to diss our national anthem, boo our hockey teams when we're SUPPOSED TO BE CLOSE ALLIES!!! yeah, well you know what, USA??? BITE ME!!!!! sorry for ranting, but that's disgusting.

Ottawa will beat Toronto. As for Carolina and Montreal I`m not shure, My bet is on Montreal. Ottawa will beat Montreal. Detroit will beat Ottawa for the Cup.

Detriot will win it in 5 or 6 I think. Hey, Mike, maybe you should think about adding a World Cup section to the OT News too. That would be nice. (Argentina all the way! :D Even though they lost to England 1-0 :( )
