Today (July 4th) not only marks the 230th birthday of the United States, but it also marks the 7th birthday of NFSGarage. I started the site shortly after NFS:HS was released back in 1999. It's grown from just 2 cars, to over 5GB of cars, tracks and files to make everybody's version of NFS just a little bit better. We're even linked to on the official NFS site. Never thought it would take off like that. Never thought I would still be updating the site constantly 7 years later, either :)

So I'd like to take this time to thank Remko for updating the site when I've been slacking off or while I'm away from a computer. Also Jeff (BMWSport) for all the suggestions and help over the years. And last, but definitely not least, the thousands of people who visit the site every day to check on the latest NFS news.

Here's to another 7 years :D

Wow, somehow the NFSgarage's birthday always takes me by surprise, there are few sites left that focus so much on the Need For Speed series and the mod community that sprang forth from it.
Mnay webmasters lose interest in their sites after a few years, or even months, thank you, MIke, for keeping it going and believeing in it. :)

Found this site 5 years ago while surfing the net looking for a good high stakes site.
This is by far the best site for high quality high stakes downloads.Mike/Remko you have done a great job.Happy

one more thing Mike, as of a couple days ago, I got a new PC and I can actually work now - I've said I can play in the past, but my pc just kept getting slower, and I ran out of HD space. I like the new forums here, and I'd be happy to start playing again.
