    You can play with added or replaced cars, yes. I tried myself, and it works.

  Will you consider making a NextGenGraphics version? It allows you to use hi-res textures without relying on TexMod and its packing extra effort for you and extra loading times for us.

    I'm not sure if I can link other modding websites so I won't. But you should google "X360 stuff pack" and you'll find it. That's the base mod to work on that among other things, will load unpacked textures from a folder that it'll create called NextGenGraphics. You just have to make a folder inside "NextGenGraphics/texture packs/yourpackname" with the textures to be loaded from.
    There is already a world texture overhaul using this method called HRT. But the more there are, the merrier.

    you need to have an application called texmod to load the road textures
