1996 Lotus Esprit V8 S4.
Add-On car created by me.
XNAME = ESPRIT
Hey friends, how are you? This is my second conversion from a replacement to a Add-On car. The Lotus Esprit V8 S4 was replaceable with the 2002 BMW M3 GTR Strassenversion.
This car can only be tuned:
- Spoilers
- Rims & Rims Paint
- Roof Scoop
- Vinyls
- Bodypaint
- Window-paint
It should be noted that what wasn't mentioned is what cannot be customized in the final game. The car has no working headlights, meaning they don't illuminate either day or night, since functional headlights weren't included because the original game is always set during the day, don't be surprised if the Esprit doesn't light up at night or under the tunnel if you install the current Sunset Mod.
To install it, you will need:
- The latest version of NFS Unlimiter.
- Binary 2.8.3 or higher.
- NFS VltEd 4.6 (Doesn't support OGVI).
NOTES:
- Anyone who wants to improve the mod and add Extended Customization is welcome to do so.
- It may appear in modpacks like REDUX, for example.
- You can distribute it to other platforms (just please give me credit, as I was the one who converted the replacer to Add-On Car).
- The car is unlocked by defeating Jewels (Blacklist 8)

Finally someone did this car justice!
Uh...help?
It's for defining the car's height. But I don't think it was created. What you could do is, from NFS Vehicle Edition, right-click on the Esprit and select "Edit Fields" or press Ctrl+Z to bring up "Fields Editor," then WheelWell, and once it's generated, just enter the value 21. The other option is to simply omit it, as it doesn't significantly affect the Esprit's functionality; it would only change its height, but that's about it.
