    I tried some time ago change VRoad on Landstrasse. It can help AI in sharp turns and S curves, it improve Cops a lot, but it destroy traffic lines, the minimap, and it becomes incompatible with HD versions.

    I think in the future (even nowadays if certain people wanted to achieve this) it would be possible for the cops to drive opponent floats, until the cop reaches the opponent/racer. There is a check for cops how close they are to the racer. There will be a switch moment from "chasing" to "trying to arrest and stop the racer". We need to find that code and make them use racer/opponent floats, until they reach the distance where they switch to "arrest" behaviour. It would be even better to alter that switch moment distance, so cops would only then switch to "arrest" behaviour if they're next to the racer.
