Hey Butch fantastic release of - yet another - interesting vehicle. Great mechanical details and smooth modelling. Did you find blueprints for this project?

    Great update, thanks.

With the rear wheels so far behind it's understandable it understeers. The non rotating wheels is always annoying I agree. In 1986 Peugeot wasn't aware of the limitations of the first computergames otherwise they would have given the car non symmetrical rims.;)

Good point, defintely have my lawyers file a complaint on that at peugeot.

Interesting observation with the wheel position, would have thoutght different from a mid-engine car tho. As i understand this, suprisingly, is an all wheel drive car too.

I'll take a look at carp.txt to adjust the chassis.

As for the blueprints, I couldn't find any. I worked from the common photos found on the web.

If you squint your eyes, it does have some design elements to the Yamaha OX99-11.

That Yamaha came 6 years later, the rear end looks like McLaren f1. I think it's inevitable there are similarities between cars. This aproxima looks more like Yamaha motorcycle than that OX9911 b.t.w.

The Proxima reminds me some Sbarro like the Chrono or the Challenge.

They don't look exactly alike, but they share the same extravagance.

@Noise: True. My bad for that.

@Butch: Oh god not Sbarro.....They're far too weird for me. I only love the Osmos, Alcador, GT1 and Ionos.

It's true that the challenge looks like a slice of Emmental cheese.

      The Lexus 2054 maybe ?

Let's see, this Peugeot is my 71st car.

100 is a good number, so I think we can discuss 29 cars.

      If it's 80's, 90's and early 2000's concept cars, I'm intrigued.

Ah...rims with 7 gaps and less polies, nice solution. Now the wheels rotate backwards or is it a bug in my eyes.

Seems I had Peugeot wrong, I thought they just stuck to Sedans and Station Wagons..Maybe little Van-Car Hyrbids.

Definitely unique, futuristic car. Is hyperconceptual a word? Anyways, love the creative solution on the static wheel bug! Kudos.
