      It is because for some reason the Ferrari 312P was a right-hand-driven race car. And the 512 S Berlinetta Speciale uses the chassis from a damaged 312P

    LeMans racing cars are usually right hand driven because the track is clockwise driven and it feels better to drive an inner than an outer curve... Aaaand the pit is on the right side so entering and exiting the car is faster and more safe ;)
