It has a black front lip (seen in A9/ALU) and a hard top used as options. The i8 Roadster is a roadster variant of the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports car. It was unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. In October 2016, BMW announced that the roadster variant would be added to the BMW i line-up in 2018. The production version of i8 Roadster was premiered in late 2017, & delivery of the first 18 exclusive 1st edition units took place in May 2018
The i8 Roadster was appeared in several games such as NFS Heat, Unbound and Mobile, Asphalt Legends Unite, Forza Horizon 4, The Crew 2 & Motorfest, Hot Wheels id and Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown
