9.8k? Isn't that too much for HS? (Sorry, i don't know, i barely know anything about the game, but has been on my mind to get it for a long time).

Also, I think this might be first 250 GT SWB for HS.

With Veg's modern patch the game can run high poly cars, though on some systems it can be laggy.

You should try out NFS high stakes. :D I mean it's not going to be all "fancy" like the modern NFS games (which I play occasionally), but its simple gameplay and "old school" style may appeal to you.

EDIT: Looking forward for the 250 GT SWB, Butch. Thanks for bringing so many unique cars (also with unique dashes) to High Stakes.

There's even a 1932 Ford Roadster Traditional which has about 20.000 polygons attached. And if using a graphics renderer like DGVoodoo which uses DirectX, or OpenGL, you're good to go with 9.8k polies, though you're actually right, but Butch manages the polygon count really well

I try to stay under the 10k triangles and to propose more or less unusual cars.

If you look at my topic on abandonware you'll notice it's easy to get high stakes legally for free.

    WOW!... It look amazing!

Please make the bumpers an ":OT"-part so we can have the convertible option for a more fullbread racecar option.. what saves at least some polies for someone who wants to ;)

      Why not.

So I must add the two oval air intakes which are hidden (and currently absent) behind the front bumpers.

No polies will be saved

      I don´t care... I still like my idea! ;)

But it seems as the airintakes are not mandatory on the original car:
