Monolithic Studios

The Bonus Track from NFS2SE Track Conversion by (we think) Ryan T


This track replaces Emprire city, so make backups accordingly!


Thanks for downloading my track, a conversion of one of my favorite

tracks out of NFS 2 Special Edition, Monolithic Studios.

Thanks go to the person who increased the resolution of the textures, and made new ones,

and changed certain signs to make them look better and so forth.


This track is meant as a simple base for more talented track designers to use

as a base, and so I'm not offended, and even flattered if you want to base a

track off of this one. Have at it. Just credit me in the readme for originally

converting it.


Now, installation is a snap. First make sure your zip program is set to

create folders. Next, unzip everything to the NFS:HS Root directory, since

the relative paths are in place. When you start the game, race on Landstrasse,

and you should see the loading screen. If you don't, the installation did

not go correctly. Check your NFSHS root for files like tr.frd, tr0.qfs,

and so forth. If these exist, then you need to unzip it again, this time

with "Create folder" (in PKZIP) or "Use Folder Names" (in WinZIP) checked.


Thanks for this track goes to Vitaly Kootin who wrote the program I used

to convert it, to EA for making cool tracks for NFS 2, and for all those

people who kept asking when I would release this.

    What a coincidence, I've recently started playing with sky combos on it, trying to improve the spd files as well, and here you are. Btw, I think it's the most tech progressive and colorful piece of sh.. in the whole saga! Thanks for the upload:checkeredflag:

      I just fixed the AI. I could have done it better, so that the AI is faster than this, but this is way more reasonable than how the virtual road has been before

    I also love the Bergstrasse track form the EPack so much. Yet the AI intelligence is so low on it... Would be great if someone improves that, too. P.S. I've already tested the Paranoid Studios and it's insane) The bots are very pro.
