What's This Project About?

Shifted: Evolution is a full game overhaul mod that brings the iconic features from the Shift series into ProStreet. It introduces a brand new car list, expanded customization options, and a refreshed overall experience. The mod features a unique customization system inspired by the Shift series, including Cockpit Upgrades, Steering Wheels, and Works Conversions. To support this new system, every car is being completely reworked. The entire UI is being reworked as well with a sleek dark theme and enhanced with car specific HUDs for a more immersive feel.

Why Shifted: Evolution?

“Shifted” means giving the game a Shift series treatment, just like how “cooked” means something has been cooked.

“Evolution” symbolizes transformation & reflects how this project completely changes the look and feel of the game.

The Story

The story takes place in 2015, and you play as Ryan Cooper. The Team NFS is on the hunt for a new racer to join their elite ranks. To find the best, they’ve organized a massive racing event spanning multiple disciplines called the ProStreet Festival. Hosted across various locations, each event offers big prize money and intense competition.

Only those who can dominate every Race Day and dethrone all the Kings will earn a place on the team and represent them in the World Tour race event. But the road won’t be easy. Dozens of racers are entering, some driven by glory, others by rivalry, ambition, or redemption.

Will you be the one to rise above them all and claim your place among legends?

Release Date?

We haven’t set an exact release date for this project so we can pour all our love, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into it without any pressure. Setting a fixed release date would only make things more complicated when dealing with this game alone is already complicated than most people think.

Summary

This project might take years to complete. We may come from different modding backgrounds and specialize in different NFS titles, but we share one goal, to deliver a fresh and exciting new way to enjoy ProStreet by maximizing the game’s full potential.
