WOW!! Very nice tracks!! I always believed that NFSGarage had ONLY quality downloads but now I am absolutely convinced. Does anyone know where is Paul E.L. site?

Server trouble. In fact, there harddrive of the Racerplanet server was faulty, so it was taken down by Tech support. Thankfully, it's repaired now.

Hey Remko since it seems your the only one around i got a question for you.I uploaded my second car in between the down time when the site was up for half a day,it said upload successfull.If for some reason you lost it let me know and i'l re upload it thanks for your time i know your probably busy.

Looks like we're back up and running again. Sorry about that downtime guys, unfortuantely there's never any notice when things go wrong, lol.

i did modify Spot patch DLL's cos spots DLL files didnt work so well with new nVidia drivers.

game had bad polygon errors so i decided to up date those DLL's.

i noticed that after modifying those DLL's, FPS were higher than with spots original DLL's.

Screenshots aren't rated. They are added, and they appear. It might take a while before you see yours. It would take an army to sift through all the screenshots submitted and decide on the best one.

Morrisdb is right: SOTD is not a competition here, and there have been a LOT of submissions these months.
In fact, one visitor actually sent more than 50 in one day - needless to say, these are not all going to be verified. (Especially not if ppl send in 6 or 7 shots of one and the same car/situation, sorry)
So if you send in a SOTD, it may be several weeks, close to a month even before it shows up. :( Sorry, Nathan, you'll have to be patient.

Mike or someone who has the power can you PLEASE get rid of that popup add that trys to get you to download something! It pops up on every page!

By the way, I'll email you tomorrow because I have to ask you something about those DLLs you mentioned below.

NFSracer: I don't know which particular pop-up that is, could you maybe make a screenshot (Jpeg format please)of it, and send that to me? I'm asking that because not everybody around the world gets the same advertisements. I find popups annoying too, but unfortunatley it's very hard to get any other kind of advertising, and maintaining a server just costs too much to do it entirely out of our own pocket.

This site used much more active. Actually all the NFS sites I go to have had a decline in activity.

I've also notice that the cars posted attract a surprisng low number of hits, despite their quality. :( I wonder if I'm just too late with my updates, and that most fans have already obtained their cars elsewhere...?

I hate to be the bearer of bad newsm but it seems as if the giant that is the NFS IV community here is aging, and as nature must follow its course, is slowly dying. What we need here is something to shake up the old routine and attract more attention. There's very little activity around here, and since I'm a die-hard NFS Garage follower, I don't check the other boards/sites too often, but I don't know what the activity level is like around there.

I know once the Zmod filter for NFS6 is released people will start coming back to the NFS community. :)

morrisdb: What do you suggest we do to get intrest back up? Any suggestion at all :)

what i think would totally bring NFS back alive, is a complete MOD for it, make it better, better physics, graphics, and so on...i remeber there is a mod out there, havnt heard of it for a while tho...home someone takes my advice :)

You mean the GT mod? Not sure how far that is from completion. There was a demo for it, a few months ago; check the news archive.

Mitch, I'll send you a link to a program that enables cheats. you must install it to your Need for Speed: High Stakes directory first, then open the program, and unlock the cheats.

I was looking at IH8COPS'
1930 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup Hotrod, in the pics of it at... Link in the bottom right is a car-on-track pic. Could someone tell me what track this is, I don't recognize it at all, looks intriguing, like some kind of "boarwalk or elevated wooden bridge. Very neat car by the way!
