First NFS6 mods?

Although the 3d models have yet to be looked into, the game uses familiar .viv files, and many settings can be found in fairly accessible .ini files.
At this moment, DPK has already created a mod that reduces the exploding barrels here, and Nappe1 has created a new performance file for the 911 Turbo, in this thread.
The first proof of possible editability for NFS6 looks promising so far. File under Yay, I suppose. =)

Whoa Screenshots of damage look sweet!!! Cant wait to buy it hehe, ill have to put about 200$ worth of junk in my computer before ill be able to run it though. hehe

it runs wery well on my computer...and of course i used 6x antialiasing .

I don't think the 'exploding barrels' thing is a good idea- -it's not realistic (have you ever heard of that being used??) Don't ask me where EA came up with that idea. I hope the cops are more challenging, and the AI gets caught more.

Yeah I think the cops are more challenging. Especially when they have NOS and drive Porsche 911 Turbos. I don't know about the AI getting caught. It didn't seem to happen in all of my races.

NOS?? Did you say the cops have NOS?!?! That's stupid.
A) It's illegal for road use. Why would the cops have it??
B) NOS is overrated, and only belongs on strip/street racer cars.

Odd, I never seen the cops use any nos when I was racing. And nos is legal on the street (at least here in California).

Hey, I just finished downloading the demo. It looks good. The only thing I don't like it the picture of the engine and the license plates. Hopefully in the real game they'll be customizable.
I also don't like the exploding berrels. I think it's a stupid idea. Hellicopters droping exploding berrels? What's next? Police with machine guns on on roof?
