When I email somebody, or contact somebody -- I mean business, and expect a reply - obviously this person doesn't know that.

I have contacted the owner of gamigo.de and have requested the site to be deleted.

I can't get a reply from Jake, anybody have his new email address?

Me being a member of the Midtown Madness 2 commiunity myself we are also trying to take down that site It makes the commiunity looks horrible when it's not a bad place.

If i see any cars i reqonise i'll tell the original author 'cause if someone stole one of my cars i'd expect at least someone to tell me.

These 2 cars, the McLaren and the Supra were uploaded to JPRacing and this site - they are on the site, but will not be released.

I got this guy's email address now. he goes by the name "Greyhound" and takes ownership of all cars he steals and converts. Namely, CPD's McLaren F1 XP1.

stealing is a crime where i'm from, thus, anyone who steals is considered a criminal. criminals should face the (long) harm of the law. and if there is no law, we'll make one of our own and enforce it.

NFSCars is enforcing it's policies regarding stolen cars. Lots of stolen cars have alredy been removed.

I'm by the troops.Those fuc****sites are so bad that they try to protect themselves.But the worst thing is definitely to keep parts of cars.I don't care that much if I got credits to parts(anyway who reads readme's??).All I want is somebody to ask permission.I write that in my readme's.Its really stupid to steal cars.BTW Jeff bmwsport won't be ruined if you stand for a cause like that...

The entire NFS community MUST take part in this. It's vital. If this doesn't get taken care of, Nobody will make any new cars for NFS4 or NFS3. I know I wont. If the BMW V12 LMR, or the BMW 3.0 CSL get converted, i'm going to be a raging ball of fire. I've received a few supporting emails, thanks for them. Also, I have not received any email replies from the webmaster of gamigo.de or from the webmaster of midtownmadness.de either.

What if you convert a car from NFS3 to NFS4, ask the author for permision via email, and they don't answer...then you upload it anyway? would made by so-and-so...converted by so-and-so work?

24 - I dont think that will work. Somebody can say "I emailed xxx, and i never got a reply" -- when possibly, they never sent an email. There should be some proof.

24, when I found NFS and all the great cars made then, I tought wow I wish I could make 1 too. Guess what, 3 months later I was releasing my first car. It's ugly, the driver don't have head, the textures were miserable but was my first car and I was very proud. So if I made a car why shouldn't everybody try it too. The NFSCommunity's here to help everyone's doubts. BMW 328i touring at nfscars.

Go to www.mm2c.com not all mm2 sites are bad. These people are also against car converting without permission.

There antother mm2 site with many stolen cars, but all I can remember is that a site called mm2 shadow studios was agianst their stolen cars.

I'm from the Midtown Madness community, Link . You don't know how long most of us have waited for something like this to happen =o). Many car creators have tried to remove ripped off or stolen cars from the site, but they refuse to do anything. I support you 100% trying to get the site taken off the network.

A lot of NFS guys are receiveing e-mails with virus, pay atention to aol.exe, hti.exe, snoopy.exe. These e-mails come from NFS reliable guys and I know they don't have nothing to do with it.

Bimmer Sport is right; stolen cars should be removed. I just downloaded the SLP-car, and I have the base car, CPD's McLaren F1 XP5. They both look good, but I just downloaded it to change the carp.txt file for my own personal use. I figured I would change it back to CPD's, since SLP's has the XP5 wheels, and they do look good.
