Electronic Arts has once again invited the owners of the The Need for Speed fan sites back to Vancouver, Canada to test Pro Street. Having no previous hands-on information of the game, it was an opportunity to test out Pro Street for my first time at EA BlackBox Studios. While trying not to bore you with an over abundant amount of information, I will try to explain what the game feels like and how it actually plays, more of the details we saw, and my reactions to the newest installment in the NFS Franchise.

Synopsis:
Drag Mode has been Redesigned, which is now much better than previous attempts.
Physics have been recreated and are incomparablly good, not a full simlulator.
20-50hrs of Career Gameplay not like the Carbon's 6-10.
Drift, Drag, Grip and Speed Challenge at 14 real world tracks.
Assist settings for all gamers alike. So competition is fair for new player to the ones who have played it for months.
There is a sense of Real feel in the environments, High Quality Backgrounds.
Damage Model has been adjusted, not as intense, but still makes the game more challenging, you cannot just smash around corners, as they will wreck.
No True Replay system., You watch your wrecks. but cannot review them.

and of course
There will be a Demo slated for release in Early October, which will consist of two tracks and two cars. The Tracks will be the Nevada Desert Speed Challenge, and the Autobahn Grip Challenge. The cars are still TBA.
