New Rules and Other Useful Notes

Welcome to the newly revamped NFSGarage. Well, soon it won't be NFSGarage anymore, it will be NFS Addons, a part of the new AddOnsNetwork, but I guarantee you that the near-instant car additions and friendly community will still remain, with an array of cool new features to improve upon NFSG's reputation.

As quickly as Mike can respond to myself and DanR's nagging recommendations of what else to add, you will see new features added here and there to the site.

One such feature, however, I've taken it upon myself to add it to the site! I know I know, you probably aren't going to like this, but we have new Rules! You can easily access it from the top menu of our Forum for now (I hope to have the Rules link added to our site menu as well) and I do encourage you read it over because we've been noticing a few problems in the past month since I've joined the staff.

One of these problems is the abuse of the Voting system for cars -- as a precautionary measure, Guest voting is no longer allowed, and anyone that abuses the Vote feature from now on will face disciplinary action because it's not a device for taking out your personal vendettas on other people, it is a tool to make it easier for the car-downloading users of this site to easily recognize a car's quality. We figured this would be a helpful tool and there's no better judge than your peers, right?

We've had some stolen cars posted as well, and obviously that's not allowed either.

So let's keep things friendly -- read and follow our rules, have fun, UPLOAD CARS, get your friends to join, and once again, have fun. We haven't had to ban anyone yet, and we hope it doesn't come down to that.
