NFS: MW: ROTS? (revenge of the Supercars?)

- General NFS, All Versions
Nah, I just made it up, that 'ROTS' addition... ;) (not to mention spoofing Star Wars is SO two months ago...) but it would have been appropriate, because if anything, recent media released from NFS Most Wanted have shown that it thankfully will be slightly more than just Underground with a pursuit mode added.
Following EA's Hot Summer Night press event, last week, Hands-on previews are available on both Gamespot and IGN.
Both sites (as well as most other big game news sources) have several new gameplay movies and screenshots available. For hi-res versions I refer to the NFS:MW gallery on www.nfscars.com.
While I've found it hard to get really excited about what we've seen of the next NFS game so far, new previews, movies and screens released last week have made the game more 'alive' for me now. :)
The fact that most media are from a current platform (regular Xbox) instead of a Next-Gen one, also help to bring it closer to reality.
So far I'm relieved by the distinctly lower 'bling-bling'-quotient of what I've seen, plus, it's good to see in the movies that not ALL of the racing takes place in the City.
Cars confirmed by screenshots so far are:
BMW M3 GTR
Mazda RX-8
Ford Mustang GT
Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Chevrolet Corvette C6 R
Ford GT
Porsche Carrera GT
Mercedes McLaren SLR
According to NFScars/Nd4spdworld, the Lotus Elise and Audi TT 3.2 V6 will also feature in the game.

I haven't played any games in years now...just sorta lurked around here. I'm gonna call it quits now - just doesn't captivate me anymore.
Mike, Jeff, Remko - it's been a good ride. All the best in the future.
Peace

Sad to see you go, but I can't blame you, really.
I had actually been preparing some more updates the next few weeks, some stuff that I still have on my hdd and isn't very widespread - but the days of old are unlikely to return, like with pretty much every game, there comes a time when it all just starts to slow down, and to be honest, I'm suprised NFS editing has lasted as long as it has... especially NFS3/4 editing, considering those games are 6-7 years old. ;)
