- General NFS, All Versions
After a long time where it was difficult to reach it, one of our most popular and biggest partnersites, JP Racing, is back and running, with a new look and new features too. Not only does it have a large collection of (often unique) NFS car & track downloads, but it's also an important source for editing tools and tutorials. Good to see you back guys!

The lack of updates here on the NFSgarage is really more because of my lack of time than anything else - perhaps I shouldn't spend so much time on playtesting, screenshotting etc. but I like to believe that a personal approach is a way to distinguish ourselves from other NFS download sites. :(
I think NFS4 editing has been so popular because it is realtively easy to get into, and it's been figured out pretty deeply. However, many editors have developed higher standards both graphically and performance-wise, and compared to modern games, NFS4 is pretty limited, so many of them have moved on to games like Racer Free Car Simulator.
I'm thinking that the NFS4 scene could be bigger still, if the game hadn't been such a hassle to get going with Windows XP (that includes the editing tools).

To be honest, this doesn't mean that we have exactly 1000 cars on the site at the moment, as many have been removed over the years, but it's still a nice milestone.
It's also the 800th car for NFS4. ;)
Its nice to see the SOTD's back, and who's beautiful screeshot resides on the left of your screen today? - yours truly
In fact, we could use some new SOTDs, we are slowly getting near the bottom of the well... although I thought that'd never happen :D - I think Benny alone accounted for 50% of all SOTD's since August 2002.
By the way: did you know that you can still go back all the way to 2002 in the SOTD Archive by clicking the > symbols?
