The guy's got a rather unexpected view on what are the most succesful games in the NFS franchise, and which are the 'less succesful'... High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed being in the 2nd category. o_

You guys gotta give it a chance, or not. Don't think I'll be playin it either. The only tuner game I've played, and love, is Gran Tourismo 2. Haven't played 3, cause I don't have a PS2.

I posted a reply, using that Patch helped me when I couldn't get Direct 3D running myself - but I'm on XP with DirectX 8.1, so I don't know 100% if it will help you. Worth a shot, I'd say.

Anyone can post a link, just by pasting the "http" etc part, it whould automatically parse it into a link. Only mods can post other goodies though ;)

Aw, too bad it doesn't help - I gues it's a bit of a gamble how long this old game will be playable while video card drivers and Direct X keep getting updated.
And I stand corrected on the link thingy. ;)
