Description

This is the improved stock EA dash view for Corvette. See screenshots.

To install just import DASH.FCE and DASH.TGA into Corvette's CAR.VIV with NFSWizard.

DASH_DIM.TGA file is for those who find gauges backlighting too bright and distracting for night races.

Bonus: Separate modified dash view for 1998 Indy Pace Car.

UPDATE1: Further improved steering wheel model and rotation. Fixed a couple of things here and there. Added texture with no stripe in the center of the wheel.

UPDATE2: Improved driver's mirror mesh. Added visible hood with chrome effect.

Credits:

For rear view I used part of mesh from Corvette C5 by XJ220/XenTek/CVPI19.

Nice, it's sharper and I like the little line on top of the steeringwheel. Also noticed the viewpoint is lower so you see more dash,

Go ahead and improve all EA dashes.

  Too bad I cant add pop-up lights. It's technically possible, but since they have to be united with DASH_LIT object to properly pop up, they turn out to be semi-transparent and glow mapped at night, which ruins the experience.
