  Pretty solid: I always liked the German speed record cars, especially the Auto-Union and Merc ones. Cool car.

  It does have the same badge as Audi has nowadays, - OOOO - but the name Audi wasn't introduced for Auto Union & DKW cars until the 1960's (I don't know the exact year).

  Well, Audi always existed , even AutoUnion just managed 4 makes: Horch, Wanderer, DKW and -AUDI ! Just look at the marvellous Audi Front, 1937.
  Audi - lead by AutoUnion - designed mostly front-wheels driven cars, Horch the upper-class cars.
