Description
So while not NFS3 specifically related, it's always good to have a xdelta patching tool.

This tool applies xdelta patches on anything you want. Delta patches are used commonly to share game modifications without needing to distribute the game itself. For example, to avoid piracy strikes on ROM hacks, or EXE level modifications.
The sirens mod I've just uploaded, for example, I chose to upload it as patch rather than uploading the entire exe because
1) I cannot get in any possible trouble for sharing a copyrighted exe
2) it can be applied to any version of the VEG patch you are using. For example, version 2017 in my end crashes when I use the built in screenshoter, and also crashes if I have a controller plugged in, so I use version 2016 instead. This format allows you to apply the patch on either 2016 or 2017version. Maybe (albeit I didn't test it) could also apply to vanilla because the area I used for it doesn't seem to have been NOPed by veg, but I did not test at all.
Can't get it to work in nfs4 , I put the DeltaPatcherLite.exe in the map where nfs4.exe is located.
-I click on the DeltaPatcherLite.exe and choose a car.fce which I exported from a car.viv
-Than I have to choose the patch to be applied to the selected file.....no idea what to do there ,sorry. I see no Xdeltapatch in the 'select a file' window.
This tool is for either patching the nfshsgame.exe or the nfs4.exe. It is not supposed to be for car.fce's (even though it would be technically possible)
What you have to do is the following:
1. Download this tool
2. Download some delta patches (for example from my gameplay modifications)
3. Open up the tool and select a game executable file to patch
4. Then select a delta patch file (.xdelta) you want to be applied to the game executable
5. Then you have to disable the "checksum verification" because at the time where i've created these patches, i wasn't aware that there's gonna be an automatic checksum validation if you don't disable it (i need to update my delta patches)
6. Click "Apply patch" to apply the patches and make sure there's no errors in the log window
