The Cerbera is derived from the Chimaera, by addition of a top, giving the car an "old car" shape. But don't make a mistake. This car is up-to-date, using a new V8 (or inline-6, Speed-six). If the Griffith 500 uses a Rover V8, the engines available with the Cerbera are developped by TVR. The Cerbera takes it's great accelerations (not so far from a Cobra !) from it's light weight and shorttransmission. Of course, the car's top speed is under 170 mph, but is a high top speed really needed on a mountain road with traffic ? (although the Cerbera could benefit from a 6th gear...)
