Description

fcecodec is a Python extension module that decodes, encodes, and operates on FCE data. It is a modern Need For Speed 3, High Stakes and MotorCity Online car modding tool.

This download contains scripts for fcecodec that behave like command-line tools.

How are we supposed to use this scripts?? I can't find any good and user friendly information on how to use them, i've got a car.fce which is not openable through Zanoza Modeler, can you help me out? Your user guide is not really helpful for python beginners.. I think that i've installed FCE Codec.. By double clicking setup.py .. Now there's the scripts.. How on earth do we use them?

  Usage:
  1. Make sure Python is installed on your system
  2. Open terminal.
  3. Install "fcecodec" per instructions in the README, i.e., run python -m pip install fcecodec numpy
  4. Run these scripts just like any CLI (such as unvivtool.exe, fshtool.exe) in the terminal
  python /path/to/script.py <arg>...
  
  Installing python is documented everywhere on the internet. Thanks for your interest. Anyway, you'll want to use the Blender plugin. :)
