NFS High Stakes — Car Physics Patcher

A community tool for tweaking car handling in Need for Speed: High Stakes (PC).

Built to make it easier to adjust the physics feel of any car without manually editing binary files or using a hex editor.

just open the tool, move some sliders, and apply.

What it does

Modifies the carp.txt handling data inside each car's .viv file.

Also you can create profiles and save them to load later.

This tool wil make backups of your original .vivs and you can aways reset them to their original state.

Supports two modes:

Global — apply the same adjustments to every car at once

Individual — pick a single car from a dropdown, see its real values, and tweak only that one

All changes use multipliers over the original values, so the same profile works correctly across any car regardless of its base stats. Original files are backed up automatically and never overwritten — you can always restore with one click.
