Description

This was converted by me from Test Drive 6. Sorry for the fact that you cant change colors, because when I converted this, I didnt know alpha channels all the way, but now I do. I will release a better version of this with changeable colors (both the stripe and the body) later on. This has 99% correct performance you would expect from a Ford GT40. The windows are clear (I think) but the interior is flat black, because, well, the interior that came with the car in TD6 was crappy.

    btw. this is 1966 Ford GT40 MarkI with 289c.i. small block V8. only allmighty MarkII versions had 427c.i. big block V8's

    Ok, I uploaded a version of it that came from my site ( Link ), and it worked fine on my computer. If it still has a CRC error, then its some glitch in the uploading script or something, because I uploaded a fully working file. Hopefully it replaces this one...

    Jokinen, I really want this to be my own lil' project, so as much as I would want the files, I want to try it all myself, and then if nothing works, I will ask for those files. I will start working on it later on, after my next car...

    I found out yesterday that the MKI had 4 engine choices, 255, 289, 302, and the 351. The MKII is the best GT40 as jokinen pointed out. the GT40 is now back in production, or getting ready too anyway, Ford has made it official! expect it to be $100,000+

    KCendra has the best GT40 Ive seen for NFS -there are at least 3 other versions out there. And the Mk4 was the fastest GT40 tho technically it could almost be considered another car as it was made here in Michigan not in England and had many improvements over earlier versions.

    Tha Cerberus is back again..with bad news...
    K/Cendra stopped his really great work because some s***heads called "Jet Li" and "WJM1701" stole his cars and published them under their names at other NFS sites..so, if they come here and post, please treat them with the disrespect they deserve..I hope Mike and BMWSport agree with me at this point...

    On the Ford reprodction......its a 2003 Ford Gt40...its a all new car, not a reproduce of older cars...its changed from the original in a few was....and may be at Le Mans in 2004!

    Don't you think its awesome though JD, Ford is bluiding one of the most legendary cars in American history again! And they are bringing the Mach I Mustang bck too! How many did holman a moody bluid...i red somewhere it was like 5...but i don't know

    H&M cars weren't the cars that won Le Mans.......all of there racing cars were white.
