Description

You may remember this car from when it was up here the first time; This Pro Street '70 Coronet has a special party trick for which you'll need to install the included sfx.fsh (without it, it looks a bit silly).
Look at the pictures to see what I mean. :)

methanol coronet.

so is that "fire" effect edited water/smoke dummy

RemkoAdmin24 years ago

Yep. That is why you'll have ti install the extra sfx.fsh if you want the effect to work. Otherwise the car'll be spraying water. :)

TURBO24 years ago

what exactly do you do to get the fire effect because I can't do it I suck at things like this

RemkoAdmin24 years ago

It's simple, actually: You take the file called sfx.fsh that is included in the ZIP and extract it into your Need For Speed High Stakes/Data/Gameart directory, overwriting the original file (make a backup of the original sfx.sfh first) and that's all.

First I had written that you'd need NFSwizard, but that was a mistake on my part; I've corrected the text now.

Oh, and if you drive in the rain, all the cars will now spray fire from their wheels too. :D

Thats wierd because I did that but the was not change ,are you sure thats all you have to do?

RemkoAdmin24 years ago

Yes, I'm sure... (it says so in the readme, btw) are you sure you have the special effects enabled in the NFS4 graphic settings?

TURBO24 years ago
