"Sweet Home Chicago", nice work, the screenshots are great. Nice driver.

It says "we protect and serve", just like on the diecast models. But the real car has "we serve and protect"

The car class has been deleted (for random opponents), is this only working for police cars, and how do you delete a class anyway. Annoyingly in the pulldown list in game it says "no games available"

Oh that is a good Catch. Guess this phrase is supposed to be other way around, the blueprint actually is from a model car.

Well, the class is removed by setting a non-valid value, as inspired by Franknfurter. since there is no Text defined the game picks that String... could be replaced in the Text-files with String Editor, for what its Worth.

Yeh I remember Frankfurter did that to his police cars, I never payed much attention to it 'caus I rarely play pursuit mode. I change police cars to 'normal' cars so I can  enjoy them in singleplayer.

I don't think the non valid value for the class has any advantages than does it?

Yes, this weird Text is only a visual Problem, this is Not doing any harm.

If you dont Like random opponents, this can be Set to a specific class with NFS-Wizard anytime.

As getaway Car a deleted class serves No purpose, set to class to your liking (e.g. class A).

Originally this car came out with a blue body and only white front doors, roof, and trunk..It was the last to follow that design, Then in 1975 they went to what you have in this and the 1974 Dodge Monaco was the first to be redone to it.

The original design if you guys wanted to do it, If not I could try using this.

I Like the old livery Design. But did they really Had use it with this Car and during that time period?

Paul, do you have any real Photos of 74 Monaco with that Design?

I can't find pics of the 1974 Dodge Monaco in the old scheme but I found some of the 1973 and 74 Chevy Belaire (Impala) using it that you guys could use to make it.

A better pic of the back design but on a 1969 Plymouth Fury

For Illinois State Police they was tan and largely plain, Again a transition period..This was when they famous gold stripes first came out so those were being phased in and this was one of the first to get that design too, The best pics I can find of the original tan was on this model by by AutoWorld, It's accurate but for that lightbar, It shoule be RED only cause prior to 1986 ONLY Chicago Police was allowed blue lights per Illinois state Statute.

And for the stripes design you can rip that off this car.

For the back the stripe is on top the trunk cause it wouldn't fit on the trunk edge like later models due to the way the car was made.

I also see you guys are using the newer lightmod from Rata536, Where as I still use the old cause it was easier to use.  But I can change the light names to match mine for my personal use, That's no problem.

The new lightmod is way better because it supports ANY color values and not just a few ones, that's why it would be better if you stick to the newer one, since it's not really hard to get your desired RGB values. And thanks for the headsup about that specific paintjob

Well it won't be too hard, Just look at the colors I used for the lights and match them up to the number code the newer light hack has vs just having a letter at the end.

Hello Paul Spain. As managing directors, Madman and I have made a decision. After deliberating at the table, the following resolution has been passed: We will now release two more police car versions. And after that, it's over for us. Because we don't want to build the car 50 times for 50 states. Two more versions will be released as police versions. After that, this project is over for us.

Ok, When you guys are done with it all I'll try my hand at some, If it don't work for me I still have the Driver SF base to use for others though I do need to replace that blocky driver in them I used now that I got better ones.

Try your luck. If you're good, you can try to complete the remaining 500 versions of this police car available in the US. Then we'll have 500 Dodge Monacos for NFS 4.

I forgot a version. There are three more versions coming. The remaining 496 versions. Will you then build Paul Spain?

I can try to edit one of the cars to a base, it'll take a bit cause I gotta basically rebuild the TGA so it has more room for Police decals and such unless some of the later versions have more space on it.

I don't know if I'll do 500 of them 🤣..I didn't know there was so many..I have a few books on Police vehicles and they cover U.S., Canada, and one Germany. I know U.S. and Canada used this car but I haven't saw ALL the variants..Is the CHiPs versions on your list? SlickTop and TwinSonic is what they had, on SlickTops they had a white spotlight on the right and red on left on the front windshield, back window had red/yellow flashing spotlights close together on the left side.. Utah Highway Patrol had them too with red/blue TwinSonic and they was white like the vehicles now, Michigan and Montana have a single gumball light only,Red for Michigan and Blue for Montana, Texas Rangers Highway Patrol had them with the same lightbar as on this Chicago but it was red-white striped caps on the gumballs (you can see it in the film The Sugarland Express) RCMP GRC had both a single gumball light and TwinSonic versions. The problem with one of the books I have is ALL the pics are black&white..I might be able to color them using a app on my cell or (if I can find a good free one) on my PC.
