Hey,Remko so this is the new NFS Game then? Hows the Frame Rate on it? Whats your FPS? just wonderd. Is that Highest Settings on Grafics. Looks Nice Btw Whats this Game Like Compared too say Nfs Shift? Maybe more like MW then? Thx for the Pic :)
Yup Will, its the new Need for Speed, aptly called Hot Pursuit 2010. It was made by Criterion Games, the developers behind the award-winning Burnout series. Also, for me, the game runs at 60 FPS at every settings maxed out except the game lacks AA. Despite the game lacks AA the graphics still look good. And yeah, this game feels like Hot Pursuit 2 with good dose of Burnout, and the handling is like drift into corners, but pretty easy to master (brake then gas, just like in Burnout, but don't forget NFS2SE :P)
It runs decent on my modest pc: Athlon X2 dual core at 2.6 ghz, 2 Gigs or ddr2 ram, Ati Radeon 4650 on Win Xp.
At 1280 x 800 without AA I'm getting around 25 fps most of the time, but at certain parts of the tracks or wen the action gets really intense it quickly drops to 12-15 fps. Enabling AA (thanks to new drivers from AMD) also slow down things a lot, so I can run it, but barely. There's not a lot you can customize about the graphic settings.
Ultimate_X has it right with the HP2 comparison, the physics feel a lot like that, not like Shift at all. It has a lot of sexy cars and the different landscapes look gorgeous, but the floaty physics are a turn-off for me.
And though there are no Replays, it has a really extensive Photo mode, which is a lot of fun to play around with if you like to take screen shots (like I do).
