I would say so. Looks very good. Though it's rather a new GRID than a classic NFS. Still, I'm going to buy it when it's cheaper.

... Even then you will regret that. Grid is sooo much better.
I never ever had less fun playing a NFS-Game

    @ Cooya!:
That's surprising. Do you think it's bad because it isn't a classic NFS or because it's a bad racing game?

Since I lost hope for a real classic nfs a long time ago this is not a problem for me anymore... the problem is that playing SHIFT just feels so wrong and boring... it wants to be something similar to a simulation game but the cars behauviour is totally unlogic... the grafics are polished but somehow lifeless, the cars are all just GT-clubsport-racecars...and the worst part: its just boring to play. If you want to play a realistic GT-Racing-Game that there are better games - and if you want to play a fungame then there are better games aswell... SHIFT is really a bad compromise that promised soo much but can“t do anything completely right

Listen to Cooya! XJ220. II totally agree with him. After a while it becomes too repetitive and pointless.

Perhaps it's not an excuse but rather an explanation why one shouldn't expect anything else. Oh well. Going to stick with GRID then. And of course NFS2SE and HS :D

I won't add anything to what Cooya! said because he nailed it... Shift doesn't make you get much satisfaction from playing it. As I said in NFSCars it's a game with a weak immersion factor and it's too focused on gameplay which may work wonders for multiplayer but just feels bad in singleplayer... It's as dire as Counter-Strike in SP. It's been since HP2 that I last played an NFS which didn't make me want to play it more. It also lacks some cars like Porsche 997 Turbo and Audi TT-RS which made it to Nitro but not Shift(!) and purposely benefits some cars like BMW M3 E46 which is faster than it should and Audi R8 which is much faster than RS4 around corners despite real life Nordschleife times telling the contrary.

MP is also unbalanced since they had the brilliant idea of including the Pagani Zonda R as one of the stock cars... Go figure. It's much faster than anything in the game including the racecars.

That being said, if you can get around the quirky physics and only care about racing, it's not a bad game.

I have never played Shift or Grid before. Don't know which one to purchace either. So, if you are saying that Shift gets boring, and it's just a newer version of Grid, then how come Grid doesn't get boring? I am confused here. What is the main difference between Shift and Grid anyway that makes Shift boring and Grid more fun? Why is Grid soooo much better? I want to know because I have no idea whether it's a good idea to buy shift or not.
