like i have said before
you can replace someone else work with your own original work on cars + other things.
you can convert an 3d model of an prelude 3g (or any rare car) (either download it from sketchfab/3d warehouse or make it from scratch) all by yourself
you can also add rare bodykits for vanilla cars like kyza pagani v12 kit for ingame rx-7

i guess a cygnet already exist (not originail) , unless make it lore friendly (fully tunable) , or ec or just has you own idea of kits
converting 2/3door car to 4/5 doors car is an original idea (tho i began it already with bmw 1series from nfsw 1m as base)

TIP1
try to make the cygnet from scratch by yourself (even existed in driver san fransisco or other games)
***cons:
-obvious waste of time if dont have plenty
***pro:
-people will take you seriously (like ug2 community did to moses after scratch modeling his eg6 (present in fm4) and you know made it as maybe 1st full lore friendly car)

TIP2:
avoid modding for fame only (trust me you'll sorrow it sooner or later)
just mod cars that you really like (like peugeot 504/renault 25/or even supra mk2/tesla cybertruck)

TIP3 (MOST IMPORTANT right now):
begin small aka from low poly car for ug2 like i dont know mazda3 from nfsc (lod2 NOT lod1-lod3-lod4) (EVEN with no customization no vinyls)
+ learn blender for making spoons/table (simpler object befor tackling on cars)
