Hi... she's Shining like a New Nickel, what kind of Wax do you use?   =D I see the box has a few Rust Holes in it?))
??? So it won't have an Fog lights, on the Roll bars at all then in this Ver? I see Logo's on it yesterday... well, I'm waiting for a phone call, an trying to wake up, hmm. Is your email working, these day's,  frank? Np. Um,.yeah I knew something was missing like a Exhaust pipe  :D will it have any Radio Antenna at all that be cool... 8)

That's too bad. Though that '75 LTD would also be neat. It's just that the older one could have easily passed for the Galaxie or Custom 500 as well.

Sry. about roll cage beams pal but I needed each dummy I could get for better overall lighting and secondly, the 'higher' a car mesh actually is the easier it would tip over sideways, the snowplow version has a bit wider mesh so it wouldn't flip that easy ... ::)

Ok first test with customizable texture .. that's quite another thing to do since is sometimes just a 'pixel's width' work .. ;)
.. as I promised the racer version has those nicer sport rims again .. :)

Exported .fce carmesh with 'default Camaro' colour table since I haven't got a matching Ford factory colour table yet .. :o

.. gave it an additional chrome trim on the doors like can be seen on real pics ... tried to not increase the polycount too much so is only another 24 polies .. also deleted the 'Mr. Plow' lettering on tailgate .. 8)

Will now update the Snowplow version with customizable texture ... uhm .. should it still have the 'Mr. Plow' lettering or not? :D

Btw .. hope you're not too disappointed by that transparent windows solution I used ... it's just that I cut out the windows by alpha channel on main body texture and added a second slightly downscaled :OT part with transparent tinted windows .. ???

That's a method I already used on another Evo 4x4 car, the Chevy Tahoe once published as '2001 Peel Regional Police Tahoe' ... ^-^

CarsDirect can help you with color tables

Other good sources for colors are Automotive Touchup and PaintRef

Aww,Rats, no test car zip today  :o  =D yes, it even looks nice without, the Fogg lights, nicer on the Eyes this Green color is Pal to: )
Just got, back home Freak 2 hour snow storm, today, it finally stopped but Winds very high makes me just Sleepy, from it all. Seen my Defence guy, was all good. Tmi-'' much now.  ::) I try say looking Nicer bud!) Of Course. I'm trying to do things, I never done, before I'm adding new poly, land masses,  on back of the Global,  one see if it work, fine... ??? So when Tooling down, the Beach you won't see inky half, of a Goofy looking, Mountain mass, an Trees sticking out thin air.. but takes, time to do all this,. As later tonight.  =D
But I'm sure it will work.. I just wished I could make my own, Textures, an but not yet  ::) some day perhaps. .?

These cars look very nice! Not sure if you're intending to release them as traffic, but I'd definitely use them as such.

Oh, I will Refrase, that an say I like, the Fogger, lights on the Roll bars,  just makes a nice,Reflection of the lights.. pal hoping Racer Ver, can still have it on there..?  even if rear beams don't work, is cool. Looks like even Zpectre into it now too  =D I never knew ;) humor,  now days... I need more..
I'm doing Okay Frank but, it's been Ruff this week. But, no major problems,  on my project as of yet.. C'ya. 8)

You know about that 'not seeing the forest for the trees' thing ...

Made a mistake on updating the car .. I merged the :ODL to :HB part when rearraging parts accidentally so I could indeed see the polies of it but ODL wouldn't work what made me wonder why for a while -LOL

Took me an hour to find that stupid error >:(

Ok so has now working ODL again and the Snowplow is also updated ... ^-^

There's one little constraint with the blade using customizable colours, since HS cannot see gradient colours into 'none' it only has some darker coloured parts beside plain colour while the lower part is just grey into whitish (alpha = 255), sry .. in HP2 you could determine the level of 'fading in' gradient colours ... :-\

So it now looks like the paint just spalled on the lower part of the blade but ok looks nonetheless still 'used' somehow .. ::)

@Zpectre: this car is definetely also meant for traffic usage, I will add coloured .tgas (that plain red one with either the 'Mr. Plow' lettering on tailgate for the snowplow and w/o it for plain car ..) to it for that .. ;) .. which colour would you prefer for the traffic 'non-snowplow' version?

Btw .. since the blade is also scaled down a bit (it was being much too large so I made it more like on real pics ..) I consider trading in one SNOW dummy for a SMOKE dummy, looks stupid having a nice new exhaust w/o Diesel fume coming out of it .. ;)

As for the base cars similar to LTD in terms of class and era, I just got the name out of my head - was not able to recall Motor World Online name at all for like one week  :D. This project was never actually finished, as far as I know, but it had some interesting low-poly cars (something around 3500-4500 per model) of the 70's and 80's. Possibly there are MadMike's models still around the web somewhere?

I hear you,Frank. I hate when my Animated, waters never want work, rite... ::) I have test it yet this Am. I like my Complicated, beach... so glad you got it Fixed, I  few them.problems,  on my deal to over this week. I like your Vidwall so have a TGIF tomorrow : )

I like blue better but, as long as it isn't black (which hides the textures), I'm fine either way. :D

Sry for delay with posting updated car but I'm currently reworking the Carp.txt files to some more realistic values I have found still ..

The 'Super Duty' F250 itself is not on the 'automobile-catalogue' database but I found out that its sister model 'Ford Excursion' has same drivetrain data and very similar specs so I will be using that for the performance tabs reworks .. ;)

.. the traffic snowplow though will retain the limited top speed 'as is' btw .. ;)

Is was asked about that Camper (my traffic 'Pickup' I'm using), too ... have reworked it again a bit so do you think this was also worth an upload? :P veeery old one, found it on NFSCars once .. it is based upon a really simple 'stock-like' Ford Expedition, so ..

It has also the 'Duty rims' of the F250 and better wheels, body mesh as well as overall lighting now ... :D

Silly question perhaps but .. do you mainly drive automatic or manual transmission ingame?

I had only found the 4-speed Ford 4R100 automatic transmission drivetrain data from Ford Excursion as said but I backcalculated gearspeed data now for the 6-speed ZF S6-650 manual transmission that were available for both the 7.3L Diesel F250 as well as the 6.8L Petrol engine (a little later though since 2002) ..

.. so question is, should I enter the manual and automatic transmission data seperately (so using correct seperate values each) or would you rather prefer both manual and automatic transmission using same values so the six-speed values would also be used for 'automatic transmission' then, just asking .. ::)

The six-speed manual has much better pullthrough .. I have tested these values for automatic transmission which was really impressive ingame ... :o
