Hi there again fellow gamers and modders. Hope you are doing well.
I've created another small mod here which consists of scripts that will (sort of) improve the handling of the cars in Most Wanted. As you can see in the root of this folder, there are two nfsms files which says "modify_improves" and "modify_restores".
--- MODIFY IMRPOVES ---
In "modify_improves", the entire list will be checked by default to make the installation a little easier when wanting to uncheck, if that makes sense. You will also see at some of the options that there is a little description after the name. For example, "911 GT2 (996) with performance customisation" is an option which up the acceleration and handling of the 996 GT2, but it will also allow you customise the performance of the car. The same process goes with the other "bonus cars".
If you don't want to install everything, you can always uncheck the boxes that you don't want to install the improvement on.
The file to import for this is called "modify_improves.nfsms".
PLEASE don't MODIFY this script file.
--- MODIFY RESTORES ---
In "modify_restores", the list will also be checked by default to make it a little easier to install (restore) the performance. Some of the options will have a description "but will still...", which means even though you uninstall or restore the performance of the car, the performance customisation will still be there, but it will not change the values or the performance when maxed out. That will be MODIFIED in the next update.
If you feel uncomfortable with the car's improved handling and acceleration, feel free to use the file "modify_restores.nfsms" to change it back to normal.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to create a new save game file for this to take effect, but I would recommend you to do so.
--- OPTIONAL ---
If you go inside the "Data_vlt" folder, you will see another script file in there. Once you install this, the intro car "m3gtrcareerstart" will change to the "bmwm3gtre46" which is more or less the same or a little better. But this is optional, so you don't have to import the script if you don't want to.
Also, some cars will also have a different engine after you install their improvements, just to let you know.

--- INSTRUCTIONS ---
1. Extract the archive to a suitable folder.
2. Open NFS-VltEd 4.6 and navigate to the Most Wanted folder.
3. Import "modify_improves.nfsms" to install or "modify_restores.nfsms" to restore the car's performance.
4. After you are done, hit SAVE and run the game.

I really liked the mod, I thought it was very well done, but I could make a version of the game for traffic cars, if you want, of course, It's just a suggestion.
