How to install:

  1. Download and install NFSMW Unlimiter
  2. Run Binary v2.8.0 as an administrator, click on red (User Mode) icon, then pick COROLLA.end and look for NFSMW game directory (ignore the errors if there are any)
  3. Run NFS-VltEd, click File - Open and choose NFSMW game directory, then click File - Import - ModScript and pick COROLLA.nfsms, and then choose "Install Mod (VltEd). Or run OGVI, click Game - Most Wanted, then File - Open and choose NFSMW game executable, then click File - Import ModScript and pick COROLLA.nfsms, and then choose "Install Mod (OGVI)" here. Save.
  4. Run the game and create a new save game. If the car appears visible properly, then you did all right.

FAQ:

Q: What is game directory?
A: That's the folder where your NFSMW installed

Q: Can you make [insert car name here] please? (or literally any phrase that is just nothing but car requests)
A: No, and I will never do that. This is because not only I don't take any car requests, but also I have my own tastes of making cars.

Changelog

  • Version 1.3 uploaded March 26, 2026

Eevee uploaded a new version. The new file is 30.78 MB.

    - Removed ModLoader version entirely
    - Recompiled model without duplicate LODs for smaller file size
    - Re-added vanilla vinyls. Much like my Skyline, it uses Recompiled Vinyls as base.
    - Added new vinyls, including two vinyls ported from The Audi Guy's Corolla vinyls (originally made for AJ_Lethal's Corolla) and D-Mac's Corolla
    - Added proper Russian language support (many of parts are now translated and no longer stuck in English language)
    - Replaced ugly ProStreet seats with more beautiful Lada Racing Club ones
    - Changed wide body kits' wheel offsets
  • Version 1.2 uploaded March 15, 2023

Eevee uploaded a new version. The new file is 6.22 MB.

    - Added one more hood style (stock hood with pins)
    - Added one more spoiler style (R34 Skyline-like Spoiler from Drift Spirits)
    - Added one more roof style (AE86 Works Conversion roof scoop (internal name: COROLLA_STYLE03_BASE))
    - Fixed an issue where taking AE86 for a little spin with stock transmission causes opponents to suddenly stop that makes the race impossible to lose
  • Version 1.1 uploaded October 11, 2022

Eevee uploaded a new version. The new file is 6.2 MB.

Added 2 new vinyls, including the memetic tofu delivery livery and a simple two-tone.
  • Initial version uploaded October 8, 2022

Eevee uploaded initial version. The original file is 0 B.

Did you just use simple upscaling tool for custom vinyls? I can send you the original custom vinyl files in 1024x in PMs

You open them in "Headlights" customization option, because there is no way to animate pop-up headlights in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Unless you're using ModLoader version, where in that case, you can't open the headlights. Just keep in mind that I don't see any reason to use ModLoader again in 2025 and beyond since addon vehicles made using Binary are better than ModLoader-based replacement mods due to how ModLoader became deprecated (despite being nostalgic).

RX-7 and Camaro are (from what I know) the only vehicles in vanilla Need for Speed: Most Wanted that have pop-up headlights, but they are always closed no matter what. Some old mods do have an option to open pop-up headlights in either bodykits or hoods, while many of the newer mods have an option to open them in Headlights customization option instead, and my AE86 goes for the latter.

      Hello, Eevee!

is it native/vanilla option in game or it is another sub mod, i need to use?

I checked costomization options in game(through quick races and see only body customization option without open headlights)

Sorry, if question can be heard a bit stupid, i m new to this game modding.

Headlights customization option is NOT vanilla, and you're gonna need to use NFSMW Unlimiter V4, which can be downloaded from here: https://github.com/nlgxzef/NFSMWUnlimiter/releases

Without it, you are unable to open the headlights.
