Description

Finally i've taken the time to upload my virtual road fix for Angel Lake 3. Be aware that a virtual road fix always includes an AI fix.

Unfortunately, there will be some trees without collision near the first camp fire with the camping tent as i've reached the game's maximum limit on the extra objects of a track which is 512. So i had to convert those trees into polygon objects again. I've wanted them to have collision in combination with being able to tear down the tent :D But unfortunately, the game has it's limits. Thanks Jim for implementing an error message in T3ED for that.


If you find any bugs or witnessing any occursions where the track might be strange or corrupted, please let me know.

PS: Sometimes, the track might still crash the game (Exception caught!). I'm not sure wether i've fixed this issue or not. I believe it also has something to do with my modified GST Editor. But if the track crashes the game on your end on a normally generated pursuit or single race from the game, please let me know.

    - Fixed a spot where bots would intensively crash into a rock ridge on the left side of the track which i was able to fix. There's still some other bits of the track where bots do silly things in a full grid race, but this is not fixable as of yet. Maybe it is if i change the floats' position in an intense way but i won't do that because it WiLL result into every opponent being worse at those spots

    Wow Pete. Great. We're keeping this game alive) Do them bots still end their f.. lives crashing into train? Gonna check soon) Upd.: yeah they sometimes do, yet the trane behaves much better. Not trying to killyo every time)

      I can't make the bots brake when the train's passing. This would require disassembly coding/scripting skills which i don't have

      It's something i usually don't look for when i try to fix the collisions, that's why it's always good to have other fellas to look for bugs

    One more tip. The TRNW file has lightning activated. Not possible in winter.

      Man I dunno wot happens in Utah. Kindiak is in Canada. There it is same cold as where I live, mostly. Upd. Where I live it was once raining on New Year's Eve (no lightning still). ONCE. I see no f.. sense recreating this in games, as it looks strange imo, with those graphix.

      Oh wow what an interesting topic. I really didn't notice this at all. I've only seen the many snow yet while racing. :D I guess i'll just leave it as it is so it accords the author's original sense of the track.  But great find again
