    well i downloaded this car long time and its EXCELLENT!!!!!!=D but for some reason whenever i play my nfs it wont let me race it has some abort message! and plus i replaced ea's cars because its all crap~! can anyone email me??my email is chinese_warrior@hotmail.com you can add me on msn if you would like =D

    When does the game crash?
    - when starting up,
    - in the showroom, or
    - while loading the race?
    Also, what is the abort message? Something with exception error probably?

    and use it to make sure there are no double serialnumbers, and that they're all 50 or less. (don't change the Knockout Truck's number, 33).

    About that file, I know NFS4 creates it in the folder of each EA car once you use it, but to be honest I don't know what it's for. I think removing it won't affect the game much.

    The trouble with these Exception Errors is that they can be caused by various things...
    To be honest I don't know what the effects are if you remove all stock EA cars and then play career mode.
    Did you remove all Pursuitcars? or did you replace them with user-made police cars?. Maybe it helps if you would give each the serial number of an original pursuitcar.

    2 more tips worth trying out:
    - change your audio setting from 3D EAX to Stereo
    - if you have many high-poly cars, simply try racing with less opponents.

    also, if you go into a race, against a different car with the same serial, it will give the exception caught message. ( i'm pretty sure )

    no, it doesn't do that BMWsport, you can still race a car with the same serial number as another.

    it happened to me once, i was a diablo or something, but at the replay it showed i was a different car. i checked and they had the same serial number. what also gives exception caught messages is racing a car with a dash. for some reason, if you don't have a 3d card or a lousy one, some user uploaded cars with dashes will give you an exception caught message. i found out that by deleting the dash.fce and dash.tga files, you can race the car. i hope this helps you guys out!

    Can somebody make a track that is basically a drag strip so that people can max out hteir cars and do sick burnouts? I would like to see how fast some of my cars with NOS go. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could.

    those IPSPCHAb.viv is the original brand files for pursuit mode i dont think you can delete these but someone please make a car that comes with these its the file the game uses for when cops say for example "in pursuit of a blue camaro"
