Description

Update October 29, 2021;

Updated showcase vidwalls (JXJR1.qfs and JXJR2.qfs)

This is the Jaguar XJR-15. Mostly redone base from Gran Turismo 2 with parts by Bandenchef and bits from NFS Hot Pursuit 2 and Black Box NFS games (UG2, MW, Carbon).

Features:

5195 polies;
Dash (default XJR-15 dash);
Damage;
7 colors (default + 2 new ones);
Required $400,000 for career purchase;
Showcase (from giulliano L);
Multi-language support.

Installation:

Open you Need for Speed: High Stakes directory;
Copy the 'JXJR' folder to the folder "Data/Cars";
Copy the 'JXJR.qFS', 'JXJR.qFS' and 'JXJR.qFS' files to the folder "Data/FeArt/Vidwall";
Copy the showcase files to the folder "Data/Showcase/";
Run the game and select the desired vehicle.

Finally! Was looking for that kind of bonus car for long time, now a decent replacement for old good XJR-15. Bandenchief's one was good, but was too outdated compared to current quality standards.

Nice, 500 polies less than Bandenchef's (outdated maybe but still great and not on nfsaddons). It has a logo on the front and somewhat more detail.

ps: headlights, helmet, &pipe .TGA files in the .VIV?

Wonder if it should be here for preservation. There also was a nice Countach, 25th Anniversary, pretty much NFS III one for HS. Still got them both in my collection, aswell as Audi Nuvolari Quattro.

yeah I used the vanilla XJR-15 .viv for the car and didn't delete the files. I don't think that's an issue tho.
