Description
Higher quality model as EA replacement plus a few minor fixes.
Stats:
512x texture for high quality texture mod on VEG patch
256x texture can be used instead by renaming CARGAR.TGA
2852 (2935 pursuit) total combined polygons for compatibility with unpatched game:
- 1542 (1578 pursuit) polygons for high quality model (LOD0)
- 800 (828 pursuit) polygons for medium quality model (LOD1)
- 460 (479 pursuit) polygons for low quality model (LOD2)
- 12 polygons for tiny model (collision) plus 38 for headlamps
Sound and dashboard were left unmodified as they were on spec
Slighty revised gear efficiency to remove shift skipping
Corrected colour's name for each, adjusted tones and added black shade for Ram Rod, silver for Gotcha (Bianco is now actually white) and green for Lead Foot.
8 different police liveries available as replacements for AI police:
- Default black and white for player, optional for AI Interceptor (0001)
- PSX Interceptor for AI Interceptor (default)
- EA/Canada for Hometown, Country Woods and Empire City (0000)
- Blue/Silver for Redrock Ridge and Lost Canyons (0002)
- Australia for Atlantica and Aquatica (0003)
- Ranger for Rocky Pass and The Summit (0004)
- PSX Hometown for purists (0000-a)
- PSX Rocky Pass (0004-a)
All models have been adjusted for the Extended Lights Patch. This means the reverse light is here with us again, and each police version retains the siren colour from the car it replaces.
Modeled after Real Racing 3's proportions, starting from vanilla model.
Full source is included for anyone that wants to easily create liveries and work from these models; just don't forget to credit as due.

First of all, amazing work rata_536. your cars are exactly what I always wished for NFS3. After many years, I've gotten back into the game once again.
Quick question, I see you cars indicate that, for 512x textures, we need the "high quality texture mod on VEG patch". Where can I find that? I've installed the lattest version of the "NFS3 Modern Patch 1.6.2", but the textures of the cars seem to be blurry. Can anyone point me to the right place for this HQ texture patch?
I just figured it out: make sure to set AllowHugeTextures=1 in the NFS3.INI file. By default, it is set to 0
