Description
Edited by Skoti: holy potatoes, it appears that I'm the supreme lifesaver of the old NFS addons. Here is your Camaro that you wanted, Mulder I have eventually found it in the depths of my hard drive.
======================= NEED FOR SPEED III EDITED CAR ========================
Date : 11th July 1999
Title : 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS L89
Type : Car
Car ID (for designers) : 123
Filename : 68Camaro.zip
Author : Chris Barnard
Email Address : bitsandpieces@btinternet.com
Home Page : www.nfscheats.com/editor
ICQ :
Misc. Author Info : Creator of CarCAD
Description : This is the third car I have released to date, and
features accurate performance data obtained from
engine simulations and real life test-runs.
I have to admit I did not originally make the mesh,
I obtained it from the 3D Cafe (www.3dcafe.com) in
3DS format about a year ago and recently used it for
testing the '3DS Import' function in CarCAD.
Unfortunately, the original author's identity is
unknown to me - I think it was made a few years ago
and has been converted between a number of different
3D formats on it's journey to my computer.
Installation : Unzip and copy the car.viv file to
...\nfs3\gamedata\carmodel\Cama directory
Thanks to : EA, Mitch Larson, MMX, Funk Rider and everyone
who helped with the creation of this car.

No way! The Barnard Camaro, its finally recoverd. Thanks skoti for reuploading
Happy for those involved.
Is the value of this car emotional or are there plans to use it for a project.
if you have any questions noise. my lawyers will be happy to advise or inform you
Ohh..the Lawyers again
I understand the value of this car, I'm a NFS fanatic too.
Chris Barnard gave us Carcad. And this Camaro is most likely the first nfs3 addon done in Carcad. It was designed in 3ds format by unknown author and converted to .fce by Barnard b.t.w.
You are quite right, Noise! It is some kind of a legendary car that somehow started it all! But the first car he ever made with CarCad must be the "Barnard HotRot" I just uploaded here aswell. It was made out of the ElNino for testing and refining CarCad.. And therefore could be the first modded car for NFS3 ever. Thank You soooo much, Chris!
Luckily we have the cars back. That was close. They could have been gone forever. A catastrophic loss
