Description

NFS2 (non-SE) is practically impossible to play properly.

So, here is a complete package that runs with just one click. It has been tested on Linux.

I compared the results with my original 2000-era hardware (Pentium 4), and it is 99% faithful to the original experience.

It runs smoothly without crashes or freezes.

For Windows, you will need to download QEMU (the emulator) manually and install the pre-configured virtual machine with the hard drive image.

    (Addendum: In Device Manager, go to Disk drives → [your disk] → Properties → Settings, and enable DMA.)

    When a Windows user manages to get it running, please let me know so I can update the Internet Archive with both versions: Linux and Windows.
