Any news about next nfs game?

Well, I was wondering if any of you guys know anything about the next nfs game, since past year, by these days, EA show us a trailer of Pro Street...

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that EA will have a lot of problems trying to make a competitive game. I just played Grid demo on my PS3 and that game is amazing and way much better than Pro Street, so I think that probably EA will decide to reinforce the modding and the tunning from their games since, in my opinion, this is the only sector were actual need for speed's are strong enough to beat their competence (juiced, anything else?). I hope I'm wrong, cause if EA choose this path, I'll change EA for Codemasters, now that they bought F1 rights...

So, what do you think guys? Will you stay with EA even if they continue to disappoint us? Isn't better to remember nfs as it used to be than like a tunning game?
