You guys somewhere mentioned a serial number problem. Well, I think I have a couple matches with the cop cars. sometimes I end up racing a "Pursuit Camaro" :ugh: .I've tried the serial editors, and they don't work. :One did a while ago, but next time I tried it just gives me a black box that disappears before I can do anything about it. Can anyone help me?

Ferrariman - yeah, it's happened to me too - a pursuit McLaren was racing me - that was just a serial number conflict, remember changing a serial number to fix that problem, but that was years ago, and I think it was a very small program that we used to use here - I remember using it back in like 2000 or 2001...mike...you remember?

WHy not download NFS Wizard? Just open car.viv in it & then open all fedata files (fedata.eng,bri,fre,ger,ita,swe,spa,etc) & change the serial no.s. I have noticed one thing. The serial no.s change automatically after some time. I don't know why?

I got the ;answer!!!!!!If nfs4 crash.You can use fce finish to edit the fce file.Delete OC,OD...Just keep HB and wheels.Then deit the windows.Let them become Black.Traffic can use high poly cop cars,now!

Why I can't put high ploy police car into the traffic.If I put them in it,when I start the game.It will crash.

It depends. You may need to keep the OC for the interior of a lightbar. I use CarCAD to delete  any vertices/faces I don't need in the OC, then do the black window thing. Sometimes it still not work, when you working with like a 10 000 poly LAPD car or whatever, but you can still try it. I just did up some of my own traffic cops based on one of XJ's really old caprices. They look kinda nice, and they're really low poly.

:eek: Now that's really looooow poly. Not bad paintjobs there, but looking at NFS3 I think the Empire version needs something more extreme and definitely red/blue for the lightbar

The empire one is more of a B/W Aussie cop, but those are old pics. I just did the empire one up like that because I like that paintjob, although it have nothing to do with EC. I'm starting an atlantica car that wil incorporate all of your suggestions, as well as being mainly white. Then I'll do Hometown, and a fictional NFSMW car.

I replaced traffic pursuit(sedan,hatch,suv,Caprice) with XJ' cars and Pursuit  Porsche with his 993 Pursuit and i have got no problems. I'm waiting if some day XJ make cars to replace M5, Corvette and Camaro pursuits(NJ,please ). when i am the police i use too XJ cars(Beetle,Jeep,Caprice,Pursuit Durango...)
Well , i use low or mid poly cars(no more 6200 polies).

Well, a replacement for the Pursuit M5 is already in the works. It's a different story for the Camaro and the Corvette, but I'll come with something for them, too.

I didn't like to be a police in Pursuit mode, but  some times ago i tested your P cars and now i'm chasing down speeders,hahaha.:bigthumb:
