Um - nope? I'm working with Z-Mod and I think it's more user freindly than carcad, plus it has more functions - I never use CarCad. Zmod is a bit harder to learn bt I think oyu can make better cars with it than with CarCad.

I guess he's referring to the fact that CarCAD is much easier to work with for beginners - just like you said yourself. It might still be better to start with ZMod but CarCAD is still worth mentioning - I use it

The tools i generally use for NFS 4 cars are Z-Mod 1.07b, FCE-Centerer, FCE-Finish 2, NFS-Wizzard, Photoshop and Cooya the uber-texture-tool :p

though I still can't model a simple car or map textures At ALL, don't understand textures as far as to figure out where they go on the car
