What the heck is F-body Faction?

well, it's only right that mecha explain what the heck F-body Faction is.

F-body Faction is an NFS modeling group founded (unofficially) in late 2002 under the co-authoring name "mecha & Azrael". the group was renamed F-body Faction and extended beyond just mecha & Azrael in early 2003. from the beginning (before Azrael and I even worked together) we edited the EA Camaro and Firebird in NFS4 into the multiple real life models of the 4th generation Camaro and Firebird lineups. when we teamed up in summer 2002 we inevitably completed the entire lineups, both T-top coupe and convertible models. after we did the low poly cars, Azrael was donated a half-made Trans Am mesh and he "finished" it. it eventually evolved into multiple models (LT1 Trans Am, LT4 Firehawk, Formula, LS1-based models, etc.) and later came a high poly (by NFS standards) Camaro and its many variants.

Azrael is all but retired, but I have continued to improve upon his meshes with the aid of Shake and they've never looked better. although I could've been happy with releasing the 12 cars I did at the beginning of the new year, I still have a little free time and aspire to complete even more cars with J Design doing the 3rd generation F-body.
